Matcap material baked into texture map?

Hey guys, I’ve come up with a dilemma that hopefully someone can help me out.

Heres what I want to do. Is it possible to show the Matcap material baked into the texture map once you assign “New from, Polypaint”?
Im painting a skin color onto my character, and I used the RS_Skin Base Matcap material as the base (which is a great color) for painting the skin. However, when I paint the details and variations of the skin and assign the Polypaint texture to the texture map, I can only see the Polypaint information on my texture map. Hence the Matcap is not baked on the texture map, is there a way to do this?

I unwrapped a character from Max and brought the body into Zbrush to paint the skin. so there is no problem with the unwrap…only the matcap information…

Hopefully I have explained what I am trying to do properly, so if anyone has done this and can help me out, that’ll be GREAT!

You can bake your material and shading info to your texture. Here a two tutorials that show different methods:
