Masking Question : Lasso & Curve for geometric Mask Forms

How can I make more complex geometric forms with masks.

I meam how I can trace these geometric formes?

I tried Lasso/Cure but don´t get the right button combination.

In this picture I show an exemple.

I made this Gun-Form with Alpha Mesh Extraction.
The From was made in Photoshop.

The Gun has several geometric details, which I want to work out.

The Red Mask is made in Photoshop…how can I make such a mask in Zbrush. ( Maskrush + Button Combination please)

In the stroke menu, turn on Backtrack, Snap to Track and Line when painting the mask.

More precisely,

While holding down Ctrl, select the freehand stroke type then in the Stroke menu, Turn on Lazymouse then Backtrack then Snap to Track then Line

thx but thats not what i am searching for.

With your solution i have just lines.

I look for making forms filled with the mask.

For exemple.
When u take the Curve-Brush an hit on every direction point 2x ALT u can make those forms I want…dont mask the inside area of my form.

Picture 2 shows what kind of mask-form I mean.
Its the CurveMask, but I did not mask the inner Area, like I want.

The Curve Stroke does not work that way. You are using the Masking incorrectly. The Curve Stroke will mask on the shaded side of the line only. Look at your image. I would suggest you do some more research on Masking Tools in ZBrush.

I know that Curve doesn´t work that way. I just want to show, what kind of mask-selection I search.

Like the Lasso but with clear (straight) lines.

Is there really no function to rotate an Alpha Mask???
