I have a question regarding isolating elevated topology for polypainting. I add veins to a character model I am working on and I would like to isolate the veins to paint them a red hue. I have use the mask by peaks and valleys but I can’t get the results I want. Anyone have any suggestions?
Have you tried to mask by cavity?
You could have sculpted and painted at the same time… Auto masking doesn’t show. Tweaking values could help.
Thank you for the responses. I have tried the mask by cavity but did not get the results I was looking for. I did find late last night that mask by smoothness gives mw the results I’m looking for.
