Martini Bambi 3D

Hey Everyone!!!

Just wanted to show you guys what I’ve been working on for the past couple months. It’s tough when work dominates your life when you want to do some personal projects. Anyhow, this model is my translation of Serge Birault’s concept of Martini Bambi. Hope you guys enjoy it!

My cup runneth over! Looks good, except that she she looks like she’s floating in the glass. Her butt should sink to the bottom. Also, her legs are looking somewhat stiff.

with facebook 3d contest and this image, papaninja will became the most popular 2dartist among the zbrushers:lol:

and YES, you captured great likeness with the image! excellent!

This is good but i think it need’s an occlusion pass (shadow cast by the hair on the skin, etc…) Keep it up !

Great job.

Thanks for your feedback/critiques! I really appreciate it!

Derek Frenzo: Thanks! I’ll see what I can do with the floating issue (fix how she rest’s in the glass). As for the legs, I tried copying what was shown in the concept. Here’s a link to the original artwork. http://cghub.com/images/view/120702/

Uber: Thank you! I completely agree. He just has a unique style to his artwork that I think translates well in 3D. I’m really glad that Serge gave me permission to use his concept.

gtiber: That should be a quick fix. I’ll add a shadow pass and post it as soon as its finished. Thanks for your feedback! I love your work! Tons of great characters in your portfolio (as well as fantastic lighting)!

sculptntoo: Thanks!
