For those who missed the news, Foundry has released “Indie” versions of Mari and Modo on Steam for a fraction of the normal price. There are some feature restrictions, but the version of Mari looks like a good option for those of us who feel limited with the texture painting tools in ZB.
They are offering an intro discount that makes Mari only $112 but that expires in about 24hrs.
