I gotta learn to do clothes like that!
Es impresionante! You are using ZBrush 7.3 beta I guess! The only one that handles so much polys… should be 3-4 billion zillion. Impossible work, or very improbable.
Can’t do that with my XSI 8-(.

In all seriousness, I give this a 5 star rating as well.
This is the only example along both rows at the top at the moment that uses pixols. Using ZBrush as it was created for, it’s main feature, what the company actually named itself after, and not just using ZBrush as a ‘plugin’ to detail 3D models for other apps.
I was going to post a thread (and I may still do) asking if anyone has any 2.5D work to show instead of all these 3D models. There was a time once when nearly every example in the top rows were all ZBrush 2.5D (eg, the excellent work of Boozie Floozie, Meats, 50s Kid and many others). Now week after week, the examples are mostly just 3D models. And worse still, many are rendered in other apps. A 3D model in ZBrush is just another tool, so it’s basically as good as they are, it’s still ‘lookie, I made another 3D tool’ and that’s it. The tool is now rarely used to actually create something in ZBrush, but rather just exported as an obj to another app.
Only a third of the default ZBrush toolset is actually 3D tools. I’m beginning to suspect the new breed of ZBrush user doesn’t even know what a pixol is. Or even wants to know. Which is a shame.
Apologies for using your thread as a soapbox. I actually like your work. It would be great if there was a way to animate it.
awrieger…thanks… you cath the point
this image never up to toprow…but is 100%ZBRUSH
Hi awriger, I use zbrush to make 2d images. Frequently I start with 3d objects as bases though.
Like the toolbar on my website, or my logo. Originally it was the 3d stuff that pulled me in, but I have come to love the power of 2.5d (which I guess means mixing 3d and 2d really).
