Hello everybody. I would like some critics and advise on my model
i’m not a expert, but his mid section of his upper body seems a bit short.
i think from proportion point of view…the stumach bit is about the same length as the upper leg.
other than that…it looks pretty good
for proportions have a look at this:

Oeps, Yeh men I noticed. somehowe I shrunk my model a bit while tweaking in Zbrush and I maked his head to width. The model on the right in the picture is the old version. on the left I tweaked him a little more in the proportions of the ref image, don’t look at the colarbone it’s a bit of right now.
how can I pull the feet and ankle up without destroying the geometry of the feet? when I try to the toes bend
Nice startm but there are some issues, a person is 8 head high, yours is 7 what makes it look a bit weird.
You could also scale your model a little thinner to help with this.
backschoulders look like schoulder bones, instead of muscles, and are really sharp, and to low on the body, neck is to wide at the moment.
But the major thing is, that all is to defines, like his shins…(front of lower leg) to defined, thats impossible.
If you want muscles , check some bodybuild images, if not ,try a more soft look, less zbrush like.
8 heads is close to ideal proportions. A person can easily be 7 heads tall. Your model is actually too tall compared to your source photo. Move the feet up in a lower res mode, so the geometry move nicely The feet need more attention, and more views of the head would be nice. Something is off on it still.
sote…in order to move bits and leave others in place…mask the bits you don’t want to move.
you mask by holding down the ctrl button and paint the bits you want move.(it’s easier than to paint the bits you don’t want to move)…now hit the inverse button under your masking dropdown menue.
now you can move the parts that are not coloured dark around.
does this make sence?
