making a color map to esport

are these the right steps to making a color id map from zbrush to another program

  1. uved the model
    2.sliced a section
    3.polypainted the selection
    4 from tool texture create from polypaint
    5.cloned testure
  2. flipped texture vertically
  3. exported

sorry if it was legnthy wanted to make sure I did it right. any help would be appreciated

Yes that looks right. Did you try applying the texture in another software yet? That’s when you will know for sure how it looks.

i brought it into substance painter are you familar with it? is colorize the same as a id map? substance painter is asking for a id map it also ask fopr a curvature map is that the same as a cavity map?
