Make PolyMesh 3D

New to ZBrush, day 4 actually, and loving it. Soooo excited I made this investment and the work posted on here is inspiring.
Going through some training and can’t find an answer on this.

When making meshes made with the tools of Pologons, ZSPheres, Shadowboxes, or Zsketch, I need to be able to
use the Zplugin menu to “Make Polymesh 3D” but it always comes back with use a ZBrush primitive. How can I use these other tools
to create something then convert it to a Polymesh3D?

Thank you in advance

What version of ZBrush are you using? There is a Make Polymesh3D button at the top of the Tool palette. For ZSpheres you can also use Make Adaptive Skin in the Tool>Adaptive Skin menu.

If you have the ZSculpty Tools plugin installed then the Make Polymesh button is specifically intended for Second Life sculpties.

4r4 Wow thank you for making that tool! I was having success with primitives only. I’ve found I can’t use the Make Polymesh 3D in the Zsculpty tools menu as it always says “please select a Zbrush primitive” unless i have a primitive open, initialized, and in edit. Can I use that ZSculpty tools menu version for SL on non primitives? Sorry really new to ZBrush

I did just quickly try the make polymesh 3d in the tools menu and hit apply UV and that worked on the dog for a quick test.
Thanks again!

Love being able to make stuff and bring it life. Soon I’ll be adding scripts to make my creations move and interact.
