Thanks for the comment
umm, to get wacom working with wings I used the WACOM control panel program, and set the the pen to mousemode, and set the top pen button to button 3 or mousewheel down… this way you can rotate the camera easy.
This is only a windows problem… in Debian Linux I am able to use my wacom tablet with wings without modifying anything except the 3rd mousebutton.
The BIGGEST reason I switched to wings is because I can model without touching the keyboard…
This means, after a hard days work, when I am relaxing, I can grab my intuos or my Graphire, lean back in my chair, and model away…
every other modeling application makes me hunch over the keyboard for hotkeys … in wings it is all Rightclick
I am makeing an interface for silo that is like this… except no rightclick needed… all the buttons I use for boxmodeling are always righ in the center of the screen
the ones I dont frequently use are around the border of the screen…
My Goal: To toaly make modeling a recreational activity… I want to put my feet up on my desk, put my tablet in my lap, tune winamp to some nice music… and let my ideas flow into my modeling application in complete comfort… I really dislike leaning over a keyboard…
For Zbrush I do this but i require a Joypad with my hotkeys programmed into the buttons… I am still working on this method :).
anyways, have a good one
