If you’ve been following me for some time, you know that I have this fascination with goats and sheep and want to tell as much stories I can come up with based on characters I design.
Here’s Maestro G.O.A.T on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine in a parallel universe.
I tried to be more creative in lighting and try something new. I tried to forget I’m a 3D artist and instead, think like a portrait photographer for Rollingstone magazine. Instead of trying to show all parts of my model with as much light as possible, this piece took the form of a photography project. I tried to use lights and forms and basically paint with them and rely on light forms as compositional elements. It was amazingly fun and I think I’ll light all my projects with this mindset from now on.
