Hey everybody! Well, I’m not usually one who posts, but I feel I’m getting to the point that I’d really like to keep posting my work and getting feedback. It’s so much fun! :smiley: So this will be my first real thread, and I hope to have many more.

I just started working on a new character, this is a Boggart/Goblin Auntie, which is based off the artwork of Wayne Reynolds. This is where I’m at so far, I started with the head, because I wanted to see if I could capture the character in just the face first, now I’m moving on to the rest of the body.

Grotesquely cute! I love it! The sculpt feels alive and I get a real physical sense of the tightly knotted material holding the fat, heavy toad in place.

Great work! Really looking forward to seeing the rest of her. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks guys! :smiley: She’s a fun character, and I love how she’s smiling wickedly while the toad looks angry haha. I’ll keep posting updates. Thanks for the comments!

Okay so I haven’t gotten as much sculpting done as I’d like to have gotten done, but I’ve been sort of busy, and I’ll be even more busy this week. Still, I added a nice little spider here, and started to block in the body and get some of the rest of her in here. And I finished the jewelry up on the head at least. This is a fun character though. :smiley:
