This is an image I worked on this evening. Went tracking through the rain forest and came upon this abandoned hut. It looked so interesting that I tried to capture it in Zee. Opinions pro/con welcomed, and appreciated.
Beautiful, DeeVee!
Not a damn thing con I could say, and if I started with the pros, you’d be up all night reading your ‘reviews’…
(And you need your sleep to be a proper ‘House-Husband’)
Very cool! Your creative use of the fiberbrush is looking great.
That’s pretty cool DeeVee! Only thing I might add would be a little more depth of shadow- the foilage and the hut appear to be on the same plane. Looks almost like an acryllic painting. Good job!
another beautissimost one! at first glance the claylike colour of the front wall made me think that this is a kind of an artificial cave in a grassy hill, but i guess its a wooden hut covered with grass, right?
You are right jaundel, It is a dried grass covered hut. Here they use the fronds of a native tatch palm. it is used for rope baskets roof coverings and another myrad Of things.
very nice…did you explore around the inside of the hut? were there any abandoned goodies laying about? The only thing i find these days when I take a stroll in the woods is trash for th emost part…grrrrr…you’re lucky
it looks pretty cool deevee… great use of the fiber brush tool…
There was not much in the hut. Just a few old rusty cutlasses, shovels, and other old farming impliments. We left them all intact.
