Hey I’m looking forward to seeing the update muvlo!!
Hey … hee hee, I’ve got another idea - which I’m not asking you to make - but just let me get it out of my head …
(I would develop it if I could … give me time) :-
Signature Master!! (working title)
1. The User is prompted to record their signature by pressing the script’s record button. This turns on the stroke-record button (in the stroke palette) and creates a new layer and maybe sets up a box-stencil to restrict the size of the users signature.
This also turns on the simple brush tool, and maybe sets the Mouse-Averaging slider to 8 in the Preferances palette.
2. The user writes their signature onscreen and presses the OK button or clear button so they can start again, (and the recorded stroke is cleared).
3:The recorded stroke is saved somehow (not sure if it can just yet). The new layer is cleared and deleated.
4: When the user hits the “write signature” button after finishing their masterpieces, the recorded stroke is loaded back up and played back on a new layer. It is then shrunk (the layer shrunk?) and placed down at the bottom or top of the picture. The layer is also brought right forward so it sits on top.
The playback would have to be a flat white colour using a simplebrush?
Anyway, that’s my thought for the day. Davies ZScript lessons have got the old grey-matter stiring and I’m not quite sure of the boundries just yet.
If you, or anyone wants to make this be my guest! Thanks for letting me rattle the ol’ marbles in my head. (I’ve still got a few thankfully!)
