Loosing inspirations and getting it back again!!?

Greetings to everyone,
On a more personal note aside from virtual software related problems I have recently been hit by a serious dilemma, at least for me, while trying to create some work for the Monday Night Challenge.

In the last 2-3 months I have neglected all art based work of myn including Zbrush. My university course has combined with exams has eaten all my time and it seems that after concentrating my self so much on Science I have not only lost the overwhelming desire and excitment to create work but more importantly the artistic spontanuity and vision. Its somewhat of a disheartening feeling to “return to the drawing board and have lost the ability to draw”.

No question that I still am in love with creation but my inspiration seems to have dwindelled!!..Has anyone had similar experiences and if so I would like to ask, if I may, what are your thoughts and feeling on this subject and how you overcame this dilemma.

thanks guys

Kiril

Hi Kircho
Inspiration is an inaccurate Muse
So be patient and take any pencils, brushes, chalks !
Have happy refounding inspiration
Pilou
Ps Comput pencil are autoriZed not the mouse

it’s a summer thing I think, seems I’ve been reading this in other forums… :D…Anyway, I can hardly stand doing 3D when the sun is out, but being from seattle that isn’t very often…

Pilou…thankyou for helping to solve my dilemma…
As you said…It is that I am out of practice not at a loss of inspiration that inhibits my creation.
Secondly combined with this matter I think it is also a matter of expectation. This is the solution to spontanuity :)…
And the solution to creation is simply hard work :)!!..I don’t belive there are tricks in art to create something beautiful!

Thanks Pilou…with few words …but much meaning!!

All the best

Kiril
