|The Bradford Group is currently looking for a talented 3D Modeler/Sculptor to join our team in the Northern Suburbs of Chicago. You will work with product developers and marketing to help create sculpts for products ranging from licensed characters, home decor, holiday products, limited edition collectibles and fine jewelry. This position requires strong skills in creating 3D content and making quick iterations to the product through its development and production. Demonstrate a self-motivated and creative approach in interpreting rough sketches or verbal instructions to problem solve complex designs issues and create products for either or both advertising and prototyping. Technical expertise in the field of 3D spline/nurbs modeling is a plus. Knowledge of computer manipulation of Jewelry Products is a plus.

Candidate carries out design assignments of a routine to moderately complex nature. Prepares and completes detail and finished digital imaging from verbal or written instructions on products. Designs products through the use of computers, while completing extensive retouching, illustration and 3D design.Designer needs to have an extensive knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator. 3D modeling software (MODO) would be a plus.

• BFA

• Strong drawing and design skills
• PhotoShop and Illustrator software experience
• MODO 3D design software knowledge
• BFA in Art
• 5+ years of working experience in creating high-end 3D content.
• Proficient working knowledge in current versions of Modo, Zbrush, and Adobe CS.
• Strong sculpting invaried subject matter, both in soft and hard surface modeling.
• Work closely with developers throughout the design and production cycle to createhigh quality content.
• Able to juggle multiple projects, assignments and maintain project deadlines.
• Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate on multiple projects.
• Solid organizational and file management skills
• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills
• Maintain status updates of assignments in the database.
• Knowledge of prototyping techniques and working knowledge of 3D printing is a plus.
Education, Licensing, Certification, and Experience
Bachelors degree - BFA with at least 5 years expertise in working with Lightwave3D modeling software
