looking for freelancers - character modeling

Hi, we are a small European company developing a new product based on creatures… can’t say more for now.
As we are doing market research for our product, we are planning to work with Zbrush freelance artists and are looking for quotes on character modeling.

The kind of model we are looking for would have the amount of details and that you can see on the two following links (works respectively by Gray Ginther and Rodrigue Pralier):

We are just looking for modeling. No texture or setup.

We’re looking for artists who are

  • at ease getting, understanding and following directions
  • meet deadlines
  • can meet exacting standards
  • willing and able to work with a demanding designer

Hi everyone,

I really don’t try to be mysterious or anything, it is just that this is a new venture and is in its early stages of development. It could move fairly quickly if we find the right people. At that point, we will set up a new company, but there is no website or company to refer you to at this point in time.

Maybe I should have phrased my post differently and asked what kind of fee people ask for this kind of characters without mentioning anything else since there’s really not much more to say about it at this point. All I can say at the moment is that the characters will be set in a fantasy setting.

In the meantime, thank you to those of you who have already replied to us, we are currently reviewing the applications.

Once again, I apologize if some of you do not feel this is professional, but unfortunately, we simply cannot disclose more information at this stage of development. We have already received many interesting profiles, and are currently developing the production workflow.
We believe that we have found the artists we were looking for, but we are always on the lookout for great talent, and so we welcome new portfolios.
