Thank you, everybody, for all the fantastic portfolio submissions. We are carefully reviewing all submissions that we have received thus far and are no longer accepting any new submissions
New company looking for exceptional ZBrush artists interested in working in the 30mm table top miniature industry. Freelance remote only. Must have your own equipment and legal licenses of software. Must be very self motivated, reliable and able to stick to strict deadlines. Must be able to follow art direction and sculpt in provided style. Plus if you are able to concept characters, weapons and vehicles. ZBrush only. Sorry, no Mudbox or Freeform. Feel free to use whatever supplemental 3D modeling software you are comfortable with but be aware we are a Maya/ZBrush studio and deliverables are to be in .ztl as well as .ma, .mb, .fbx and .stl.
Must have demonstrable experience building/sculpting for 3D print and experience sculpting for casting and tooling. NO EXCEPTIONS
We are a tight nit group so you must be a team player. No room for egos here.
USA applicants strongly prefered. Compensation based on talent and experience. We have a strong preference in building long term work relationship so, based on performance, this can turn into more freelance work.
Looking to see samples of realistic human and animal anatomy (not stylized or comic bookish), realistic cloth/clothing flow, hard surface sculpting (not modeling) and 3D print samples (photos or renders). Knowledge of animation will help with creating dynamic poses but we do not need demo reels. Sorry, no purely game artists. Experience in real-time game art is appreciated (that’s where I came from years ago) but sculpting for tooling is a completely different skill set.
