Looking for Adventure? Background Artist Wanted!

Hey folks! I just found this board and I’m totally surprised by the power of ZBrush and how many talented people are around here. This might be just what we’ve been looking for. We are developing an adventure game and looking for background artists. If you’d like to focus your creativity on such a big project instead of experimenting around, read on!

About the game:
The working title of this classic, yet innovative 2D Point&Click graphic adventure is “The Diluvian Legacy”. The course of the story will take you from the City of London over half the globe to ancient Mesopotamia, the cradle of mankind, uncovering mysteries, that not even Indiana Jones would believe. To say the least: The story of the biblical flood will have to be rewritten…

About us:
Momentarily the team consists of two programmers/story writers and one character modeller/animator. Though we are doing this for the fun of it, we are serious about finishing this project and we have the capability to do so. We’ve been working on this game for about two years now, but due to the lack of background graphics, the progress is very slow at the moment.

About you:
Since the theme of our game is quite serious, we’re heading for a realistic, non-comical style of graphics. In my opinion, ZBrush would be a good choice to achieve this, wouldn’t it? Your task will be the creation of scene background graphics and some in-game objects. You’ll get directions about the layout and important elements of the scene, but you’ll still have a lot of freedom for your creativity and of course a voice about the overall game design. There will be no pressure of time or deadlines as this is a hobby project, but you should be serious about your involvement. We develop this game as freeware, so you will be doing this without salary and just for the fun of it. Of course, there might be a slight chance to find a publisher, and in case we make money from it, you’ll get your share, but this is a far away dream.

So, if you are seriously interested in participating in this game project, just reply to this post or e-mail me:
