Looking for 3D modelers and Renders for Royal Canadian Mint

The Royal Canadian Mint is looking for the engravers of the future.
We have developed our engraving process to a point where Z-brush, ArtCam and Vray are used regularly. We have a need to hire 3-6 full time employees to help us meet the demand for new coin and medal 3D designs.
You will not only be creating 3D models but will be able to turn the model into an actual piece of metal using high precision machines capable of reproducing the 3D models more accurately than the best 3D printers. You will render your model to help promote the coin through internet and catalogue marketing

If you are interested in learning more please email me at [email protected] and I will send you the detailed job posting and will answer any questions you have.

I’m curious about this. What are you using? What kind of resolution are you talking about?

Hi Gerhard

I don’t suppose you’d consider freelancers from abroad for ZBrush modelling?

I was a designer/ engraver at the British Royal Mint for 16 years (Head of Design for 7 of those), and now produce low-relief ZBrush models for coins on a freelance basis.

As well as ZBrush, I have 15 years experience with Artcam, and the process from model through to sample coin.

You can view a few examples at my website mavericknumismatics.com
I don’t show much client work publicly on the site due to confidentiality contracts, but I can send you a more comprehensive portfolio in PDF form.

Kindest regards
Matt Bonaccorsi
