Ok this has nothing to do with Zbrush, but with something i am running into.

Every time i come to this site which is Zbrushcentral.com i have this extra thing on the bottom. Its another search engine?? i have circled it so u can see. No other site or place shows this. I am just wondering does everyone else has this or just me?? Its not a spyware and its not a virus i am sure of it because i have protection for those and also no other page or site shows this on the bottom except the Zcentral site.

its kinda annoying when you can only see 3/4 of your site and have to scroll up and down to see the full image or threads…

any suggestions??

Hi Nightwolf10 … Hmmm… well u say it ain’t virus… that’s right :slight_smile: and it ain’t spyware… well maybe not, but i would get that yahoo search bar a very long way from my pc :slight_smile: and i would also check my pc for cws and for adware… it is adware… i don’t know what adware protection you’re using, but i would suggest that you used another program… it seems that the program you’re using can’t catch that adware :slight_smile: another test u can do… is go up to View // in your IE browser// toolsbar, and see if it is there… and turn it off, and then find the little program that starts it… normaly there are in the Documents and settings directory… hope this can help u a little on the way. otherwise, PM me, and i’ll see what i can do… Gretz from andy

Its a …oh I cant think of the name.

Its something that gets installed when you surf the wrong sites. Problem is those kind of banner installers usualy have friends that will keep reinstalling them.

My suggestion is to download XoftSpy, Addaware, and SpywareBlaster.

All of them will keep your computer clean of those kind of things.

The guys are right, it’s Adware & it’s coming from that search bar :mad: go get Ad-aware SE & Spybot search & Destroy from www.download.com, while you’re at it get rid of IE, it’s crap & the reason most people have this rubbish on their machines in the first place, install Mozilla Firefox 1.0 it’s free & its fab… :cool:

Guess what?? just by using www it has cleared that stupid ad from the bottom. Now i have everything back to normal thanks to u…
