A bit off topic but considering some of the discussions about 2d art and drawing skills I thought it may be helpful to some.
If you have not seen Dave Rapoza (among many others) does a livestream session on monday nights. You can log onto his channel and watch him paint in photoshop and post questions.
The livestream channel also has saved previous sessions you can watch.
I dont know him personally or anything I just think he is a great artist and its
very cool of him to do what he is doing. He does freelance with several places
as I understand it, one being Wizards of the Coast.
Check them out cool stuff, be sure to watch all of the sessions as he answers
some great quesitons about technique, the industry and tells some pretty
funny stories among other things.
He actually posts some of the PSD files to download for you.
Cool guy check him out,
Home page:
http://daverapoza.wordpress.com/
CGhub (where I came accross his work)
http://daverapoza.cghub.com/
and his LiveStream site
http://www.livestream.com/****inartwithmrdelicious
(looks like the profanity filter is stoppping it, lol, replace the **** with
the “f” word and it should work)
After the ad runs the stream should show a snowy tv screen
and say offline (unless you hit it during a live session)
Click on “Menu”
“Browse on demand library”
Then select a session to watch, some of them are severl hours long
in real time.
Enjoy hope it helps someone, helps me alot if for nothing more than
inspiration
P.S.
Do searches on livestream as well, many ZB and other 2D artists on there
like Magdalena
Katie De Sousa also, she is bad ass

This guy posts painting sessions sped up but also has his custom brushes you can download, cool stuff http://www.djahalland.com/en/goodies
Bear in mind custom brushes can be useless to you if you dont know how they are meant to be used. Informative in the very least to check them out if you are not familiar with making custom brushes in photoshop.
