I finaly made the jump to lightspeed with XP today. Thru many trials and so forth, my XP copy was, ah, misplaced. Hapening to have a Spanish version handy, I thought “What the heck?” and installed it. Brilliant, huh? I don’t even speak Spanish. :rolleyes: The installation was actually not all that bad. Now I’m in and all. I’ve figured out how to get around with the help of Babelfish. I’ve even managed to get the VCR, DVD, the sound system, etc. working. But goodness, the interface!!! I found somewhere an option that I can use to switch it between 2000’s interface and the new one. But being the kind of user I am, I wondered if there might be a way to get right in and comstomize the interface to my likings beyond the ssaver and BG? Perhaps someone with the English version might explain… ?

Hmm. I found the Appearance settings, but they only seem to work when I set it up on the old 2000 interface. I can’t seem to get it to aply to the new interface.
