Line view

Hello Community!
Is there a way to always show lock the line view from the lowest subdivision whilst moving up and down in subdivision levels, other than click in the button instead of using keyboard (Shift-F)?Line view

Hello @StefanD

This should actually be the way it works most of the time, if you enable Polyframe mode at the lowest subdivision level, and then move up and down levels. If this doesn’t work for some reason, drop to the lowest subdivision level, "Delete Higher " subdivision levels in the geometry palette, then do a quick Ctrl-Z to undo that action. This should reset it.

It works but I want only the line view from lowest subdiv. When I switch it on and off it will show the lines view from the current subdiv level

Yes, in order to do this you must activate the polyframe at the lowest level, and then move up and down subdivision levels. If you activate it at a higher level, that level’s polyframe will be the persistent polyframe.

There is no way that Im aware of to activate polyframe mode at a higher subdivision level, and have it display only the lowest. Variable PolyFrame Mode (active by default in Preferences> Draw) should make the lowest subdivision level’s lines the boldest, with subsequent subD level frames lighter and lighter.

Hello @StefanD and Welcome to ZBC.
Well I made a macro for you to quickly display the polyframe from the low poly mode
it will works with all subd levels even if the polyframe is already enable.

MACRO_display_low_wireframe.zip (2.3 KB)
