Line of spikes and Adaptive skin

Hello!

I’m pretty new here and I’m sorry if this has been asked before, I know it’s a pain in the ass when that happens, but I haven’t found the answer yet and so I had to ask. So these are the questions:

  1. Some time ago I watched this video, in which the sculptor creates lines of spikes for the Indominus Rex’s back, but I can’t figure out how to attach the single spike subtool to the brush so it creates the whole line (min 7:13, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlbOc41TyOI).

(This is what I’m working on:
)

  1. And this one might be a beginner’s question, but I also haven’t found the answer yet, so it would be great if you guys could help me: Why can’t I go to lower subdivision levels after using Adaptive Skin?

Also, this is one of my first models in Zbrush, so if you have any suggestions they will be very welcome.

Thank you in advance and nice to meet you :slight_smile:
