Hello to everyone,
even if I turn off “Open at Launch” under “Preferences” and “Store config” Lightbox will open at Launch next time I open ZBrush.
Any idea? :qu:

It works for me. I disabled the “Open at Launch” option and my lightbox doesn’t open.
What version of ZBrush are you running? 4R7 P3 or an earlier version?
Are you working on a PC or Mac?

It works for me but only once. I mean when I turn it off and store config zbrush stroes my preference but it also turns the button back on. So when I restart zbrush lightbox doesn’t load (as expected) but if I store config again without disabling the button then lightbox start opening again on start up.
I’m finding ZBrush has alot of these weird little behaviors.
I am running 4R7 P3 on Windows 7 64 Bit.
However it is a trial version but that should not be the reason!?
Now “Open at Launch” remains unchecked as desired but Lightbox will open anyway at Launch.
I am a beginner with ZBrush and once you find such simple things not working properly you start to wonder what else is not working as it should.
Well, startup master works…
Not only that, also allows to start in 3d edit mode by default with the object and material you choose. The defaults in Zbrush for starting the program are rather useless.

There’s an issue that when you store a configuration when the Preferences>Lightbox>Open At Launch button is off it will get turned back on again. All you need to do is turn it off again and store the configuration a second time (Shift+Ctrl+i).
