Licensing wishes

Hello,

I don’t know where else to post suggestions and feature improvements, so I do it here in hope that someone from the dev team sees it.

It’s actually just one thing I think about right now that’s really bothering me and probably could be changed in some smart way.

I’m currently moving between my workstation and my laptop frequently. And everytime I have to go online to deactivate, dig for my serial nr and so on.

It would be a huge improvement if Pixologic could allow us to install on a second machine or have a cloud license thing like Adobe and many other companies have these days.

Hope it make sense.

Pixologic does allow 2 separate machines on 1 license. As long as only one is being used at a time. I currently run Zbrush on my computer at work and my computer at home on the same license.

You probably have another machine still linked to the license. Could be from an older machine that’s been upgraded? If this is the case and you no longer have the older computer you can contact Pixologic and they can deactivate it for you so it would open up the slot for your second computer.

Having said that there is one exception, you can’t have a Mac license on a PC and vice versa. Those are separate licenses.
