Hello,
I’m huge fan, like everyone else in the world. I have been using zbrush for a long time. I couldn’t really show work too much because I was using a 400+ student version of Zbrush.
Those versions are considered legacy now. I don’t have them installed, what I do have installed is Sculptris, and The last release of Zbrush core(before the shift to Maxon).
My question is, can I use that student version of the last release (prior to the shift to Maxon) for commercial use?
Adobe; I know different company, allows(or did allow) students with seat purchases for college to use their student licenses for commercial use.
Seeing that the feature sets in zbrush now far surpasses the features in the 4r versions, the licenses are just sitting there. Like I said, I don’t have it installed and I use zbrush now when I can afford to pay for subscription. I also still use the last version of core. I have a subscription at the moment, but money is tight, so I was asking. I would never install and try to use the student software for commercial use. I hate scam artists, thieves, etc… So i cant be what I hate, lol, conundrum. It’s an itch I won’t scratch that’s been there for years. I mean, I ain’t gonna tell on you, but I’m not gonna do it. Lol.
Just saying.
