ZBrush 2022.0.7 is installed.
is 022.0.7 or 2022.0.8 the last free bug fix update?

    For some users, ZUpgrader may not work. If that happens, uninstall ZBrush 2022 and then download the full installer from My Licenses.

ZBrush 2022.0.8 is the final update for ZBrush 2022, and available for anyone with a valid license for ZBrush 2022.

Thank you, I’ve never got this error before. I don’t have a maxon license. just whatever ZBrush 2022.0.7 we were allowed to keep and run.
Do I need to uninstall and install full version ZBrush 2022.0.8, or will that mean a new purchase or subscription?

Hi @CountQuadula

Are you running “updater.exe” or “ZUpgrader.exe”? You should be running “ZUpgrader.exe” in the ZBrush root directory. I don’t think “updater.exe” works. If you are running the right one and getting that error then you should download ZBrush 2022.0.8 from My Licenses and run full installer. You do not need a new purchase or subscription.

after downloading from My Licenses and running ZBrush_2022.0.8_Installer (with no errors)
ZBrush still opened as: ZBrush 2022.0.7
Looking in the ZBrush folder these extra files were added.
Not sure if they are suppose to stay there, do they get deleted?

The file you downloaded from My Licenses is the full installer. You can’t just overwrite the one you already have installed. You should first uninstall 2022.0.7 then install 2022.0.8.

Thanks! Now that it’s working can those “updater.exe” be deleted or is that part of the functioning ZBrush?

Keep “updater.exe” and you should be able to delete updater. 1, 2 , 3, 4 and 5
