learning Anatomy

hi im looking to improve my knowledge of the human body, but im having trouble deciding and finding the right learning material.
im currently studying biology at A-level unfortunately there is very few parts on anatomy.

any way as a result im looking for an in depth book/dvd that will give me the following:

  • full colour detailed pictures of the human body skin/muscle/bone/organs
  • a detailed written explanation of the names and purpose of each of the above. e.g. something that will help with both my Biology studies as well as my ZBrush Studies.
  • fairly cheap, i.e. less than £50/$100
i have been considering this book

Atlas of Human Anatomy: With Netteranatomy.com: WITH Netteranatomy.com (Netter Basic Science) (Paperback)
by Frank H. Netter (Author)

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/1416033858/interactiveda3354-21

any opinions are welcome id really appreciate your help.

Scott Eaton’s recent interview here at ZBrushCentral has a link to his website - http://www.scott-eaton.com/anatomy-for-digital-artists - that has lots of excellent information from a digital artists perspective. Check out his reference material for his class.

Good luck.

thanks i have atcualy seen that and it is a good resource but i do want something like a book that i can keep by me whilst sculpting. and the books he recomend all look realy good but im still not sure which to go with, if anyone has got a anatomy book that they have got for the same sort of reason i have id love to here your opinions on it.
