Hello
I would like to know whether there is the possibility to somehow turn on the lazymouse function while painting in 2.5D Mode. If there isn’t maybe it would be a great addition for future updates?
Best regards,
Ralvar

Lazy mouse does not function in 2.5 d mode, but turning up the mouse average in the stroke properties can smooth out the stroke. Some of the 2.5 brushes like deco brush have a “snakey” quality.
I really can recommend “Lazy Nezumi” (Windows only) as a stroke smoothing app for every program.

It took the lazy mouse idea, refined it, and brought it to every app you want to use.
So it comes back and is working in zBrush 2.5D too.
I am testing for you right now. Cool.
I checked:
Photoshop
ArtRage
Flash
Verve
After Effects
3ds max
It worked for everything I tried and made a nice job.
So if you are on windows, check the 30 days trial.
For me, it was worth every 30$ I paid.

Ah, thanks a lot to both of you! The “mouse average” function works like a charm. I mainly wanted to use it for ornaments creation in 2.5 for the seamless texture function. Is there maybe a workaround to create tile-able textures in quicksketch? Would be awesome.
Stumbled across the lazynezumi-tool a while back and got really frustrated, because I only obtain a mac computer That tool surely would make things a lot easier. Thanks a lot for testing it out in 2.5D mode and for the recommendation:)
