Layer Mesh Skew problem

Hello, so I’m trying to record the position of my mesh from position A to Position B using layers, the problem is when I introduce changes on the mesh and then slide through the layer you can see that the part I extruded ( in the Gif ) it gets skewed for some reason, anyone can help me understand what I’m doing wrong, I’m aware of the stager technique but I need layers for much more flexibility down the road, much appreciation!

Hello @akram_fex ,

Theres not enough information here to do anything other than guess. But my guess would be that the proper shape of this layer is dependent on some other Layer, or that the influence of another active Layer is causing the issue. If you pose a mesh one one layer and then sculpt detail on the mesh while the Pose layer is active, that sculpted detail may not look the same if you then delete the pose layer. One layer becomes dependent on the other.

I would deactivate ALL Layers for the mesh, and go through them one at a time to see what each layer is really contributing. If you created a Layer with certain other Layers active, you may need to activate all of those layers at once for it to look the same. Likewise you may need to deactivate other layers if their effects overlap and conflict.
