Here is a new Zbrush only WIP no photoshop and hardly any polypaint. Just lighting and Materials. The subtool experiment from hell.

nope. It wanders between Cold Spring Glen and the Devils Hopyard, feasting on cows and any poor soul that crosses its path.
Cool! This is exactly what ZBrush is designed for! Hopefully you can get a grotesque looking skin texture on there to bring it to life.
Great sculpt and awesome subject matter. I like all of the others on your deviant art page too, especially the deepone. Can I request a Mi-go? Or maybe Shub-Niggurath, The Black Goat of the Woods with a Thousand Young?

Well now thats a good question, I had to actually go and count. At The peak I was at 225 but I combined the tentacle teeth and now I am at 72. :o
Haha wow, 225? I thought I had a lot when there were 10 or so. Must have bogged your comp down a bit. I bet that took some time to combine those meshes.
I had to save a new version on every move I made. I must have had 10 bad crashed saves. Over 175 individual saves to build this guy. Countless crashes on renders. I assembled the groups of teeth in xsi. Endless importing. On the upside, I learned a ton from building this guy.
The twin that was more like the mother…and less of the father.

He, he, It’s funny that you said that. And the answer would be… Nope, I haven’t been able to sleep much. I get obsessed with my art and up working to the wee hours of the night.

Haha, I know what youre talking about skullbeast. Theres not enough time in the day for Zbrush and sleep. New comp is awesome! Was the hair added in as post work in photoshop?
