The helmet!
Yes…

I kept staring till when I realized it is the helmet moving up and off his head just a tid bit that truly drives the motion of his tragedy! That slight off-set…

Curiously I would love to learn why mayhaps you chose to keep the horse closer on the ground rather then having a greater rearing effect? As perhaps these poses often do have more rearing to accentuate the motion.

I think as it is, the moment carved in the motion of what is happening is perfect however while I can observe the effect this decision of less rearing has yielded, I can’t seem to understand why! Would love to learn!

Uhh …A very intresting question have you there.
You have a very good eye.Yes the helmet is off from head :slight_smile:
I made this for the drama.This scene is the begining of the arrow hit.
This is a frezzed flash moment on the move.
The title will gave you more answear.

A good Art will start to live without his master :))
