Kingdom Death - White Lion

Whoos I am still logged in as Hazardous. I was supposed to post this as Anuxinamoon :<

Sorry, That was supposed to be me posting that.

Thats what happens I guess when men take over your computer and when I start posting early in the morning. Sorry for the mix up!

Thats fantastic stuff man! I seriously need to do a sculpt for print at some point. Any tips on what to keep in mind when doing a sculpt for print?

Very cool lion

i like the lion a lot, i have a question though about the mane you sculpted. is that from a single subtool or a combination of several different hair sculpts assembled together? Thanks

Beautiful work dude <img src=“http://www.zbrushcentral.com/pixo/atn.gif”>

I am interested in your mane technique as well. How did you accomplish it?

This looks great! I am really digging this fur and the anatomy. Is it just me or does lion teeth fan out like this? The teeth looks odd.

I’m pretty sure this person has made it to be like that.
The teeth are from a shark and the paws are from a bird.

Damn thats cool. I’m a fan of how you did the hair, that must of been a mission to do.

Hi everyone, just to reconfirm, this is my wife’s ( Anuxinamoon ) sculpture heh not mine!! So please direct your questions to her!

Thanks!!!

P.S I’m glad you guys like the sculpts we have both been doing for Kingdom Death!

Awesome dude! I would highly recomend doing a print, its really fun!
Some tips I learnt are;
-Make things thicker than normal, like hair and cloth and ears
-Make sure you focus on the big underlying shapes as detail can get lost quite easy (especially at that res)

  • When cutting the mesh, do it in places that are close to a large volume, like the base of the tail to the body.

Yes that is correct

For everyone asking about the hair, its just one subtool and I used the clay tubes, standard (alpha 39) and the flatten brush (zbrush3.1). Was probably the most time consuming part, but because I have done a fair bit of hair sculpting on monsters at my last job, it wasn’t as hard as it looks.

Just gotta make sure all the large shapes are there and to give it depth.

Thanks for all the comments everyone!
