I’ve recently created a number of dreadlocks, using Fibermesh, for a character. They have a high(ish) poly count (about 20 million). The overall poly count for the character (including the dreads) is about 46 million and it renders fine in Zbrush. When I send to Keyshot I get an out of memory error or it simply crashes. When I send the dreadlocks one by one it will accept a couple of them and they look great but the tri count is gigantic - many multiples higher than in ZBrush.
Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?
I have send 60 million poly+ projects to Keyshot that render very fast but as soon as there are Fibermesh parts added Keyahot can’t handle it.
