have been running zbrush for almost a year now with no problems. However, today I tuned on my computer, ran zbrush, and loaded a tool I worked on about six months back to resume an old project. However, when I loaded the tool and dragged to create it, I didn’t immediately notice that my holding down the Shift key did not snap the tool to any particular axis.
After this, I tried the classic, hold alt to move around/let go to zoom keyboard shortcut, nothing. And, finally, deciding that restarting the application might do something, attempted a Command-Q to exit the program. I noticed the Zbrush window at the top highlighting when I entered the quit command, but the program did not quit.
At the moment the only way I can navigate through zbrush is with the mouse, a time-consuming and ultimately frustrating proposition.
…help?

Have drastically reduced the max polygons from 16 mil to 10 mil, still no change.
