really great, I’m a huge fan of terada, i have an original sketch when I saw him back in 2000.
I think you need to work on his face a bit more, in the drawing he’s more ferocious/crazy, his mouth is open a bit which adds to that. Yours, his mouth is closed. Check out his fangs. In the drawing they are tip to tip, in your they are overlapping because his mouth is closed. Aside from that… it’s insanely good.
Funny, I was thinking of modeling one of his girls… 
Looking at it more… you have the side of his mouth completely rounded. I think it should be much sharper and back further on the right side (his left).
I wonder how he’d do up against the other Son Goku…
I agree with pingu. It needs to be more dynamic in the pose. The back needs to be more hunched and just give everything a “double check”. Look at the distances between things. Great stuff though.
Wow, thats one fierce looking monkey king. I think the drawing goes even one step further but you did a great job.

Hey, I showed a friend your model and was mentioning that Terada signed one of my books down in LA, I remembered he drew a monkey on the inside page.
Well I took it out and looked at it, it’s actually the same Monkey King character! The thing is, it’s drawn in profile. So I thought I’d post the pic for you to check out, it might make more sense. I noticed your MK looks more baboon-ish… his mouth sticks out quite a bit. It seems Terada’s has a much flatter face, more ape-like. Anyway, I thought It would help to see a profile of the character!
