Keeping Zsphere geo for export

Hello
I’m wondering if there is any way to transform Zspheres into geometry vs creating an Adaptive skin? I really like the aesthetic of Zspheres and would love to export and rig them.

If you instead make a Unified Skin out of the active Zsphere tool with max Resolution, you can sometimes capture a decent approximation of the Zspheres. Tool> Unified Skin, set Resolution to max, then "Make Unified Skin. You would probably have to ZRemesh this to make it more accessible to other programs, not to mention less “blocky”.

Turning up the Smoothing on the unified mesh may also remove the blockiness, at the expense of softening some detail. However, if you smooth it out enough you could also Decimate the geometry for export.

Otherwise, if you simply create an Adaptive Skin at high Density (Dynamesh optional–disable for better performance) in the default (not Classic) mode, you should be able to capture the contour of the Zsphere structure accurately, but not the individual sphere detail.
