Keeping original names when exporting texture maps

Hello,
Is there a way to keep texture map file names the same when exporting a model with hi texture maps?

I have texture map ready for my DubTools, each map have it own file name and it is important to keep the same file name for keeping track on my workflow.
when I export an OBJ with the model (I use the 3d printhub) Zbrush changes the texture map name and make up a a new name. I like to keep the same file name for texture map. Is that possible?

Hello @Barak_Twito ,

Generally in OBJ export scenarios ZBrush isn’t changing the name of an applied texture, it’s creating a new token texture file in a limited selection of output formats. Your original texture file still exists–simply apply it in your external program. You can disable the export of Textures in the 3D Print Hub export options.

Also of note:

  • Any texture imported or cloned into the Texture palette and exported manually can be exported with any name you want.

  • The Mutli Map Exporter plugin has many options for setting the naming convention of automated texture generation.
