Just an "aside" on Wacom tablet quality....

In another thread I was complaining because it seemed my brush strokes where coming out “studdered” and bumpy. I was using my Graphire 4x5 which only has 512 levels of sensitivty. Well, I finally got my precious Intuos 2 out of storage (just finished moving) and the difference is literally like night and day…smooth as butter my strokes are…Am I gushing? I’m sorry, I just love my tablet :stuck_out_tongue: if I could make love to it I probably would LOL…

Just kidding

That’s good to know! I’ve only ever used a Graphire and keep wondering if an Intuos would be worth the expense  - Baz

Sometimes the proximity of the monitor to the tablet can be the cause of things like this. You can test this by moving the tablet closer to and further from the monitor.

Dan,
I thought it was that too, but my monitor is way up on a second tier of the desk and my tablet was on a sliding keyboard tray.

Any who, I’m happy now
