joint knee test

joint knee.jpg
is just a test for color and texture for the bone and muscle also the volume.
C/C are welcome
Thanks in advance

Nicely done Mario. I am no medical expert but it looks to me like you have a good start with your test :+1:

That looks very good Mario :+1: Your background shines through in this one I think

Very strange coincidence. I have had my anatomy book out the last couple of days while practicing my feeble drawing skills and what was on the page when I saw your post? The knee.

I don’t recognise the white connecting ligament between the joint. What is that? The bone color looks good but perhaps too “old”. But for a medical view it works fine as I am sure you know. I especially like the upper muscles, the… eeeh…(looks at book), the rectus femuris and the vastus medialis… pheew.

Looking forward to seeing the whole body

Looks great! I bet it helps a lot in the understanding.

Cooool! I always love this stuff!

Nice test :+1: :+1: :+1:

Thanks friends for the kind feedback!
I am still at the very beginning: this is supposed to be at the end, an arthroscopic knee tutorial for medicine school. I began to making up the volume of the scene with each part of the joint. Some of the anatomic areas im not happy with the results, like TVeyes ask about the white part!, it is supposed to be the anterior cruciate ligament with the meniscus but as i say i really dont like it.
Im in the step to making a database for this joint, figures, images, diferent point of view and of course, the feedback also from the traumatologist physician, but at the same time i enjoy a lot with this stuff as Jason mentioned.
Hope i have lucky to finish this work!
Thanks for the c/C are needed:D
This image below is suppose to be an arthroscopic device also my first approach.

Thanks very much

Good modeling! It takes a moment to get out of the ZBrush Box modeling what you want! Till then you can give it to 50’sKID as Alien Probe Model :D.

Try the ‘Crease Level’ setting while modeling, it can give you more definition.

In any case, looking good!
Lemo

Yes, Lemonnado i agree with you! Thanks
femur and vessels1.jpg
Andreseloy

ps:anatomy vessels are not strictly like reality just for test now.

hi andresloy, looking good, but I would say the notch, or fossa is too deep. actually i can’t distinguish what it is, is that a supposed to be a humarus, or a femur? I mean it is looking cool… but i would look at an actual bone and rework the head a little… good luck, looking good.
