I just got back from the movie with my son and it absolutely RULED!!!
There is some of the typical Freddy humor…but…for once since Return of the Living Dead it is not overdone and worth being in the movie.
The story as far as this type of fiction is not too far fetched.
Synapsis is basically, everyone has forgotten about Freddy so he has beome powerless, and he ressurects Jason as a tool to be remembered and brought back into power. Jason unfortunately gets greedy about it and is not doing it exactly how Freddy wants. That is what causes the friction.
I won’t give anymore than that away. Both these characters are near and dear to my dreams and I don’t think they or the writers or directors will let you down.
Hopefully if you get to see this you will be able to see some outstanding previews of upcoming movies…ie Texas Chainsaw Massacre to name one and Jeepers Creepers II to name another. There is a werewolves vs vampires flick coming out too, I just can’t remember the name. Very promising looking. LIke a cross (pardon the pun) between Blade and The Matrix. There is also another kewl zombie movie coming out soon as well. I didn’t catch the name of that one either. So I will be personally in blood n guts heaven for the next few months.
