A grounded reinterpretation of Jar Jar Binks, exploring how the character might appear in a more mature, story-driven sci-fi setting. Sculpted in ZBrush, textured in Substance 3D Painter, rigged using Advanced Skeleton, and rendered in Unreal Engine 5.
This project gave me the chance to integrate UE5 into my character art pipeline while focusing on believable anatomy, clean topology, and expressive posing. Using Advanced Skeleton allowed for fast, flexible rigging to support both cinematic and real-time presentation.
Special thanks to Terryl Whitlatch for inspiring a whole generation of artists! Her creature design work continues to be a masterclass in anatomy, storytelling, and originality.
