It's not over 'til the fat lady sings...

I’m almost done with my reel now. I thought I’d share a picture of one of my characters which has a lot of zbrush work on it
Proxy built in xsi, subdivided twice in zbrush to build ‘bumps’ on her ‘lumps’, then subdivided several more times to create a displacment map which I used as a bump map instead. I did it this way because I already had a colour map that I created in photoshop, and wanted all my bumps and lumps to line up with it.

I’m fumbling for words:)

You character’s crying out for a background - an ornate rug and perhaps a very suburban room to set it all off and enhance the mood.
Great expression and overall feel :+1: :+1: :+1:

Very very cool demo reel. Take the time to check it out folks!
Your reel had something that most lack…Atmosphere!.

Good luck in the job hunt, just use the force…

Indeed. In my final reel there is a set, though it is a bit simple where the characters are, and I use strong depth of field blur

There is a lot more that could have been done with this, but in the end time constraints made me keep it pretty simple.

Wow, thats a very big girl. Awesome demo reel. Its got a nice creepy mood to it. Love the part when the flag fades into the eye. Seeing things like this makes me wish Id reconsidered my major & where I went to college. Oh well. Best of luck to you in the work world.

Thanks - yes the scene and interaction of other shadows brings her to life.
