it..it is...it is BROKEN

having finished watching a movie (as he often does in the evenings while eating dinner) Neo unplugs his notebook from the wall, picks up his Logitech trackball, and heads for the bedroom to relax in bed while working in ZBrush. He has been doing this for the last week or so, but this time, this time something went wrong… terribly wrong.

as Neo got up off the couch and swung around to clear the rocking chair, there was a sudden jerk, a powerful ripping movement… you see the mouse cord had caught the arm of the rocking chair. with the speed of work still in his step Neo had litterally LAUNCHED his notebook computer into the air…

he could only yell “NNNOOOOOOOOO” and flail in vain at the empty air in front of him. there was silence, slow motion, and then a sickening crash, as the notebook came smashing down to the hardwood floor direcly on the wireless network PC card that has made its home in the side of Neo’s notebook for nearly two years now.

Neo could only stair in horror at the mess on the floor. pieces of network card strewn about the floor, notebook sitting with screen askew. he felt the bile rise in his gullet, a tear in his eye.

my notebook…

my notebook…

my notebook…

was all he could say :frowning:

my commiserations dude :frowning:

Hi Neo
Think that in the Parasise’s Note book, yours watch you with tears of emotion
“Inanimate objects, have you so a soul ?” Lamartine
Pilou

Bad luck dude, I like your epic retelling of the incedent but I can’t help thinking you’ve censored a lot for our tender ears.
If that was me the air would have been blue!

sorry man , seems like an exciting way to crash a notebook.
Those things are too fragile, I have some laptops too and I’ve broken the case of 2 of em. They repaired it under waranty , but still I didnt do anything wrong with it , they just started cracking after a while.

Hope you were able to get it fixed. :frowning:

Another incident in favor of the case for “Nerf” laptops.

i will know more about what is and is not covered in my warranty tomorrow…
