I have a Mac OS X v. 10.6 with 4GB Memory and a 3.6 core i5 processor. Graphics card: ATI Radeon HD 5750.
Would you suggest upgrades to use zbrush? If so what would u suggest? (I’m a student, so my budget is pretty much spent just getting zbrush but depending on the cost I’d consider upgrades.) How would these upgrades be installed?

Is it the iMac model, the one that includes everything in the monitor? If so you’ll only be able to upgrade the RAM. Zbrush doesn’t really use the video card so you probably don’t need to upgrade it anyways (unless you use other programs that do). The good news the RAM is very easy to upgrade/replace. It only takes about a minute as it’s easily accessible. I get my Mac RAM upgrades from http://www.macsales.com/ much cheaper than Apple and they’ve been great so far.
