Is there a way to save the snapshot grid as a PSD or JPEG file? [Answered]

I was looking the way to save not only the grid snapshot of the working mesh but also the image create by it as PSD or JPEG file…some advice appreciate
thanks

Hi andreseloy,

There’s no direct way. You can save the grid you create using the Save button in the Draw palette. Also you can export each grid image by using the Document>Export button. Set them up like this:

  1. Turn off Perspective.
  2. Position the grid so that one grid image is square to the canvas and as large as possible. Ideally you would have a square canvas.
  3. Turn the E Enhance Factor and Opacity sliders to 1 and set Fill Mode to 3 (all in the Draw palette). This makes sure the model itself is virtually invisible.
  4. Export the Document.

Repeat this for all grid images. You can use the ‘Switch’ button to swap the Back/Front etc. images as necessary.

Thanks Marcus! i will try your suggestion:+1:
edit: i doubleclick as the image show and i can export direct from the texture panel!!!
