Is there a way to place an Insert Mesh exactly on the symmetry line ?

How could you place an Insert mesh directly on a symmetry line?
For example if you had plane and you are using symmetry across one axis that runs down the center of the plane.
Is there any way to use an insert mesh brush and have it placed exactly on the symmetry line.

Thanks

If you have symmetry on you will see two red dots either side of the axis. Just move them together and they will snap to one dot. Draw out your mesh (hold Shift to snap vertical).

THANK YOU MARCUS!

Talk about “overlooking the obvious”!
OMG, I spent a few hours on this, in 4R7, creating center line sub tools, using pivots, ect.
Please tell me this is new in 4R8.

Didn’t think it was new, I stand corrected…

It is! It was only introduced with 4R8 P1.

My Brain thanks you for that good news Marcus.
I was wondering how it missed that in 4R7, when I was try to center IMs.
This is a great new little feature, Thanks Zbrush !
