Is there a way to merge tool and delete hidden polygons without dynamesh?

Working on a game model (high poly). Want to decimate it to use as dummy in engine. I’ve merged all subtools to one and then used decimaion master to decimate. Problem: the model consists of body and layers of clothing. Want to merge it one single ”skin”, without underlaying polygon layers. A rough lowpoly. Is this possible to do in a quick and easy way? If I use dynamesh, too many details are destroyed and parts get merged in a eaybthat doesn’t let me use the dummy as intended.

nope. if you want a water tight model then you’ll have to generate a mesh that is water tight.

if you’re losing details with the dynamesh then you’ll need to either increase the resolution before hand or duplicate everything and use standard subD levels with projections then decimate the mesh.

You can also break up your dynamesh with polygroups and don’t allow them to merge.

allready had max resolution, but I figured out a solution. Thanks anyway:)

edit* Ah, you mean increase resolution of the mesh, thought you meant resolution for dynamesh. There’s no max resolution for a model, of course:) I misread.
